AGBU Hye Geen Young Circle

AGBU Hye Geen Young Circle helps the Hye Geen organization stay relevant by exploring different issues facing the current generation of Armenians now living in the United States.  Currently made up 10 to 15 women and men between the ages of 20 to 50, the Young Circle essentially focuses on enhancing social issue education for the Los Angeles Armenian American community.

The Young Circle maintains a clear mission.  The first objective is to organize and deliver social issue education that appeals to teens, college students, adults, and seniors. To realize this vision, we currently focus on two projects every year – a conference held in Los Angeles and the Hye Geen publication which is distributed worldwide.  Second, is the imperative goal to increase the spirit of volunteerism in young Armenian Americans at the high school and college level so the youth carry forward the spirit to strength the community circle.   In furtherance of this effort, we have partnered with various Armenian student organizations at local colleges when staging our conferences.

Recruitment of Volunteers

We encourage professional Armenian women and men, from different career paths, to get involved. We are always looking for motivated people to join the effort to improve our projects. Contact us at agbuhyegeen.youngcircle@gmail.com
